Learn To Skate is the rst place to start if your son or daughter is interested in gure skating or hockey. Our program, designed for beginners of all ages, focuses on basic skills development in a fun environment. Lessons are taught in a group format led by a certi ed professional coach and assisted by trained program assistants. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of skating so individuals can progress to hockey, gure skating or recreational skating. Our winter program starts Tuesday October 4th. THE GLACIER SKATE ACADEMY is Montana’s premier ice skating academy for the development of gure skating and power skating skills for hockey. Established in 1993, we are Montana’s only year round ice skating program that offers skating for recreational/ competitive gure skaters and hockey players. We are a member of the US Figure Skating Association and
“OUR MISSION is to foster a lifelong love of ice skating and to impact our community with fun, healthy, active, competitive and affordable programs while motivating each skater, no matter what level or the age, to achieve their goals.”
Glacier Skate is ready for the upcoming winter season of learn
to skaters, star skaters and gure skaters. We are very excited to
be sending 9 athletes to the 2017 North West Paci c Regional Champions that are held in Wenatchee, WA on October 19 - 23, 2016.
5 of the skaters are competing in the Juvenile Ladies Qualifying Competition.Sophia Burrough, Azlyn Caldwell, Muriel Mercer, Hannah Rainford and Makenna Woody are our Juvenile Ladies competing this season.
The Regional Championships is the rst qualifying competition for competitive gure skaters that are training to get to Sectionals and then to the National Championships.

The 5 Juvenile skaters are competing for a chance to move onto the Sectional Championships in Salt Lake City in November and then the National Championships in Kansas City, Missouri. Skaters must place in the top 4 to qualify to the next round at each competition.
Shatara Boye, Grace Elden, Sophia Elden and Mary Margarett Mercer are representing the club in the non-qualifying part of the competition as they are working their way up to the Juvenile Ladies level for future competitions.
