It’s the little things that can make a big difference in life, as I note in my business column from time to time.
Little things like smoothing out a jaw-rattling railroad crossing.
When “Road Closed” signs came out this week, I suspect a small cheer went up from folks who cross the tracks at the 2nd Ave EN railroad crossing on a regular basis.
PAVEMENT!
Doesn’t seem like much, but a little bit of pavement in conjunction with the concrete rail spans makes this intersection a lot safer for bikes and motorcycles, and a good bit smoother for everyone.
