Woodland Water Park

By Beacon Staff

August is here and the temperatures are expected to remain hot – so why not take a dip in a pool at Woodland Water Park in Kalispell to cool off?

The park offers two water slides – one built for a speedy descent and the other a twisting and turning fall. There is an activity pool with fountains and toys for all ages. Take a float around the lazy river or try aerial skills from one of two diving boards into the lap pool.

“I like diving from cliffs better, but this is close,” said Henry Bowman after a flip from one of the boards. “And it’s a nice place to cool down.”

The park also offers swim lessons, diving classes and certifications for lifeguards, water safety instructors and water rescue.

Recreation Hours: Every day from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.

How to get There: From U.S. Highway 93 in downtown Kalispell, go east on Second Street East. Continue through the large intersection with Woodland Avenue. Turn north on Woodland Park Drive.
