Police Blotter: It Didn’t End in Paintballs

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Wednesday and Thursday morning included the following:

11:28 a.m. A woman stung by a bee in the temple went into anaphylactic shock yet managed to drive herself to North Valley Hospital.

12:02 p.m. A one-year-old boy required stitches after a dog bit him in the face. The owner will handle the dog.

12:23 p.m. A man passed out in the Wal-Mart parking lot. He was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

5:22 p.m. A bow and arrow was stolen on Shadow Lane. There are no suspects.

5:39 p.m. A man has inconsiderately and repeatedly put his unwanted belongings on his neighbor’s property. Deputies were called and the dispute was settled between the two.

7:20 p.m. Two young boys stole candy from the Super 1 in Evergreen.

8:52 p.m. A drunken woman called for assistance when she couldn’t get her boyfriend, also intoxicated, to leave her residence. Prior documented relationship squabbles include paintball gun shootouts.

3:18 a.m. An inebriated man punched a woman in the nose. He took off before deputies arrived, but he will be charged.

4:18 a.m. A prowler was seen looking in a window on Bridger Drive in Bigfork. The resident went outside to see who was peeping only to see a man run off toward the golf course. They were not able to provide a description.

The departments responded to 141 calls for service.
