The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday and Monday morning included the following:
2:42 a.m. A woman’s crazy boyfriend caused a disturbance when he tore things up and threw stuff around her apartment.
5:57 a.m. A naked man was seen running through the Kari Dodge parking lot.
9:43 a.m. Two rifles were taken out of a vehicle on Holt Stage.
10:33 a.m. The neon sign at the Rainbow Bar in Kalispell caught fire and spread to the roof of the bar. It was put out shortly thereafter.
12:33 p.m. A man in the recreation room of the detention center hit another man in the face with a basketball. Punches were exchanged but no one was hurt.
1:59 p.m. Some one broke a window at Bigfork Elementary School.
5:28 p.m. A woman’s dog was chasing horses on her neighbor’s property. The neighbor wanted the dog off her property. When the dog disobeyed orders, the neighbor went into the house to grab her shotgun. When she came back out with the gun she saw the dog coming out of the chicken coop with a hen in its mouth. The dog was shot. The dog owner was angry and a fight broke out between the neighbors.
9:18 p.m. Two bears were spotted in trees in the Big Mountain Trailer Park.
1:55 a.m. A female transient was arrested in Nickel Charlie’s for refusing to stop washing her hair in the sink.
2:23 a.m. An inconsiderate inmate in the detention center went over to the other side of the cell near another inmate and passed gas. After some name calling the flatulent one was punched in the chest.
The departments responded to 93 calls for service.
