Police Blotter: Pilfered Video Games and Mushrooms

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

11:38 a.m. Two cell phones were stolen from Chinook Wireless on U.S. Highway 2 E.

12:01 p.m. Money was stolen out of a home on Willow Glen.

12:41 p.m. A mirror was broken off a man’s car on Truman Creek Road.

1:13 p.m. A woman was caught stealing some video games from ShopKo.

2:08 p.m. A man called in because he thought it looked like a bullet had went through his window. When deputies arrived they decided it was not a bullet hole, but most likely a rock that had been kicked up by a vehicle tire.

3:39 p.m. A 45-year-old woman was caught stealing a can of onions and a can of mushrooms from the Evergreen Super One.

4:45 p.m. When a man came to pick up his Ford F-150 from an auto repair shop the owner told him that he thought he had already pick it up because it had been gone for a few days. The owner of the truck then called the Sheriff’s Department to report a stolen vehicle.

6:49 p.m. A woman reported that another woman had called her threatening her life and said she was going to “torch” her trailer.

7:12 p.m. A cashier at Office Max said they saw a man sitting in a vehicle outside suspiciously video taping cars and employees. The man was gone when officers arrived.

8:23 p.m. A Kalispell resident called the Sheriff’s Department to let them know there was a cat nearby their home that had been meowing for the past 24 hours. The animal warden was unable to find any cats.

The departments responded to 176 calls for service.
