The City of Columbia Falls has organized a committee to begin planning the development of the Riverfront Park. This group will detemine the what, when, and how regarding the new park.

They are currently looking for volunteers to serve on this committee. If you are able, please put your name in for this important effort. Our input is needed now to help the City determine the best way to utilize this precious new resource. The City has asked individuals to turn in a written request by Oct 19th to serve on the committee. Please send a letter to the city by Friday. You can email your request to [email protected], or mail it to City of Columbia Falls, 130 Sixth St W, Room A, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.

If you cannot serve on the committee, please attend as many of the planning meetings as you can. Public input will be taken at every meeting. The first meeting is Mon Oct 22nd at 7 pm @ City Hall.

This is an exciting time for Columbia Falls and the legacy of this park will shape our community for generations. Please find time to be a part of this project and help shape the future of that beautiful space.
