Montana Tech Runs Over Rocky Mountain

BILLINGS (AP) – Matt Komac passed for 302 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score Saturday to lead Montana Tech to a 36-7 victory over Rocky Mountain College.

Nolan Lopez added three field goals and Corey Warner rushed for 51 yards, including a 3-yard touchdown that gave the No. 25 Orediggers (5-3, 4-3 Frontier) a 26-0 lead with 6:31 left in the third quarter.

Rocky’s only score was a 45-yard touchdown pass from Drew Hedrick to Brian Guisti with 3:21 left in the third.

Komac’s touchdown passes included a 26-yarder to Alex Grevas shortly before halftime and a 54-yarder to Casey Kelly early in the third quarter. Kelly had 11 catches for 183 yards for Tech. Lopez kicked a 44-yard field goal in the first quarter, a 39-yarder in the second quarter and a 32-yarder in the fourth quarter.

Hedrick passed for 166 yards for Rocky (2-6, 1-6) and Guisti had seven catches for 88 yards.
