Police Blotter: Cat Threats, Obscene Photos

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday included the following:

12:59 a.m. A man threatened to kill a woman’s cats at a motel in Kalispell.

8:08 a.m. A disrespectful individual smashed a mailbox on Sunnyside drive.

11:27 a.m. A worried man called the Sheriff’s Department because he received some obscene pictures on his cell phone. Later he found out his buddy had sent them so he was OK with it.

11:41 a.m. Someone in Columbia Falls reported finding baby bones. The bones were actually those of a small animal.

2:24 p.m. An Evergreen woman called in when she saw a man follow two kids on a bicycle to the park. She said the man looked like a bum. She then saw the man play with the kids. She didn’t think the man was the kid’s Dad. When Deputies looked into it they found the man was the kid’s Dad.

3:16 p.m. Someone shot a dog who had a cat “attached” to its mouth.

4:53 p.m. A TV fell on a baby in Columbia Falls. The baby is OK and has only a mark on their forehead.

6:45 p.m. A woman stole cigarettes and beer from a gas station in Evergreen.

9:19 p.m. Parents called in after their angry 17-year-old son ran off with his brother’s cell phone.

10:37 p.m. An intoxicated woman wandered into a gas station in Evergreen and called the cashier dirty names.

The departments responded to 126 calls for service.
