The Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:
7:01 a.m. The three boys that escaped from the Wilderness Treatment Center Monday were caught after robbing a mercantile in Marion. Two were sent back to the treatment center and one was taken to Juvenile Detention Center.
10:51 a.m. A worried Slough Road resident called in because they noticed that two dogs had been abandoned in a home. The animal warden left a note on the door for the owner.
11:06 a.m. A person dropped off five kittens at a gas station in Kalispell. They were taken to the shelter.
11:54 a.m. Someone stole someone else’s cat.
2:51 p.m. A cat was shot but did not die in Columbia Falls. The owner is angry about her huge vet bill. She has an idea who the cat-shooter might be.
4:11 p.m. A crane on Willow Glen in Kalispell plowed through some power lines and then got stuck in them.
4:33 p.m. A DVD player, DVDs and a jar of money was stolen out of a residence in Kalispell.
7:59 p.m. A man threatened a woman with a broken rake handle. He was arrested for assault.
8:00 p.m. Three people in a pickup were seen shooting out a window on Haskill Basin.
8:04 p.m. A Kalispell man who had a complaint against him for his dogs making terrible barking noises claimed his dogs weren’t the ones barking.
The Sheriff’s Department responded to 112 calls for service.
