Police Blotter: Mischievous Cows and Man Throws Pen

The Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Thursday included the following:

7:12 a.m. A woman called in from Bigfork because she saw a man wearing a black coat peeping in her window.

8:46 a.m. An abandoned meth pipe was found in the ladies room at a casino in Kalispell.

9:01 a.m. Someone in Bigfork called in because they heard gunshots and activity … during hunting season.

10:07 a.m. Cows were seen tearing up the golf course and vandalizing a fence in Whitefish.

10:44 a.m. Parents of an 8-year-old girl called in because some kids at her school made fun of her.

2:45 p.m. A kid in a car seat and a dog were left alone in a car in Lakeside for 15 minutes. The mother was counseled not to leave her child alone in the car.

3:13 p.m. The Sheriff’s Department was called because someone saw a kid trying to start another kid’s go-cart.

5:27 p.m. Someone called in because they saw that the antlers of a dead deer had been sawed off.

6:49 p.m. A man trying to buy cigarettes at an Evergreen gas station got angry when the clerk asked for his identification. He subsequently threw a pen at her.

10:59 p.m. A man who is wanted in California for failing to register as a sex offender was arrested in Kalispell for lurking around inside a local business.

11:11 p.m. An alleged homicidal and suicidal medical marijuana patient was pushed and yelled at by her violent boyfriend.

The Sheriff’s Department responded to 178 calls for service.
