Police Blotter: Trouble on Haywire Gulch

The Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

9:21 a.m. A wild cat was trapped so it couldn’t get out.

10:29 a.m. An angry inmate in the detention center broke the antenna off the TV.

1:13 p.m. A dog killed a deer and ate it. The dog was hauled off to the shelter.

2:12 p.m. A garbage truck in Kalispell was seen dumping garbage all over the road. A Highway Patrol officer pulled him over and asked him to stop.

4:19 p.m. A heap of burning trash needed to be extinguished by the Evergreen Fire Department.

8:03 p.m. A verbally abusive and tremendously irate woman called in about the ongoing dog-barking issue on Haywire Gulch in Kalispell.

9:15 p.m. The Blankenship Fire Department responded to a garage on fire near Polebridge. Upon arrival the garage was nearly completely burned to the ground.

9:19 p.m. There was allegedly yelling, a gun brandished, fighting women and another woman assaulted by her boyfriend all at one residence on Haywire Gulch in Kalispell. The dispute was settled amicably with the help of authorities.

1:26 a.m. There was a burning pile of power poles out by the Coke plant in Kalispell.

2:25 a.m. A disgusting prisoner spit on an unsuspecting detention officer.

The Sheriff’s Department responded to 149 calls for service.
