HAVRE (AP) – Drew Hedrick passed for 249 yards, including a 49-yard touchdown pass to Jason Hagadone as time ran out, to lift Rocky Mountain College to a 16-10 win over Montana State-Northern on Saturday.
Northern (5-5, 4-5) had tied the score at 10-all on a 9-yard touchdown pass from Garren Hammons to Don Saisbury early in the fourth quarter.
Rocky (4-6, 3-4) scored first on a 3-yard TD run by Michael Thomas early in the first quarter.
Northern pulled to 7-3 on a 28-yard field goal by Luke McKinley with 10:20 left in the half. The Bears answered with a 31-yard field goal by Bjorn Nelson to take a 10-3 halftime lead.
Hedrick completed 20 of 41 passes and was intercepted three times, twice by Khalin Anderson. Hagadone had 141 yards receiving on eight catches.
Justin Moe rushed for 119 yards for Northern.
