The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday and Tuesday morning included the following:
7:21 a.m. Two county trucks had their windows smashed in at the gravel pit on Cemetery Road. The estimated damage was around $500.
8:21 a.m. Mailboxes were destroyed by some criminals on Fourth Avenue in Columbia Falls.
8:29 a.m. Someone hooked their pickup to the gate of the gravel pit in Coram and tore it down.
10:27 a.m. A llama was seen fighting with a dog in Kila.
1:14 p.m. A Kalispell man called in to complain that he paid a large sum of money to get his driveway paved but the job was only half completed and he has not received a refund from the deceiving paver.
2:54 p.m. An inconsiderate thief stole the tips from a hard-working barista at Pinkie’s Pit Stop.
4:01 p.m. A former renter informed his ex-landlord that he would be his “worst nightmare.”
6:21 p.m. Someone who had been kicked out of the Rainbow Bar in Kalispell called the Sheriff’s Department to complain.
8:37 p.m. A man was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend.
10:46 p.m. A woman called the Sheriff’s Department to inform them that there was someone holding a gun to a woman’s head in Arizona. Arizona authorities were contacted. When they attempted a welfare check the woman said she had no idea what they were talking about.
1:29 a.m. A drunken man fell off his bike in Evergreen. He required medical assistance and a ride to the hospital.
The departments responded to 131 calls for service.
