Police Blotter: Man Hates Community Service, Parolee’s Guilty Conscience

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

7:09 a.m. A 19-year-old man who did not want to perform his community service he kicked and punched holes into his mother’s walls. Deputies counseled the delinquent.

8:10 a.m. Windows from a backhoe on U.S. Highway 93 were pried off and taken.

8:16 a.m. Someone ran away with a gun they had stolen from a vehicle in Coram.

8:46 a.m. A man who habitually urinates in the Bigfork Post Office was called in for making a mess on the floor.

1:01 p.m. An employee at Burger King accidentally pushed the alarm. There was no hold up, no one was held at gunpoint and nothing was on fire.

1:38 p.m. Someone in Lakeside called because they saw a cat stuck in a tree. They were advised to put food under the tree and wait for the cat to come down.

7:02 p.m. Someone called in about an intoxicated Kalispell woman who was yelling and breaking things around the house. Later, because she would not stop breaking things, her cousin came to take her away from the home she was wrecking.

11:24 p.m. A woman called her parole officer after drinking too much. She said she needed to go to jail. Consequently she was arrested.

The department responded to 137 calls for service.
