Riverfront Park Committee Selected

Last night, the Parks Committee made their recommendation to City Council to select the citizen members of the new Parks Committee to work on planning, design, and future implementation of ideas for the newly acquired riverfront park in Columbia Falls.

The Columbia Falls City Council concurred with the Parks Committee’s recommendation at their regular Monday meeting for the following members:

Jami Belt
Sarah Dakin
Shayne Hatfield
Jenny Jarvis
Chris Tesar
Alternates – Elly Jones
Jon Lemburg
Connie McCubbins.

The next meeting of the Parks Committee will be on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. The committee would like to thank everyone who expressed an interest in the new park and encourages anyone interested in the park to take part.
