Montana State Falls to Iowa State

AMES, Iowa (AP) – Nicky Wieben scored 16 points to help put Iowa State past Montana State 76-50 Friday night.

Heather Ezell added 15 points, including four 3-pointers, while Kelsey Bolte had 12 points for the Cyclones (4-1). Amanda Nisleit led Iowa State with 12 rebounds.

The Cyclones took an early 16-1 lead and went into halftime ahead 37-20. They hit 47 percent of their field goals compared to 34 percent shooting by the Bobcats (2-3).

Sarah Strand led Montana State with 14 points. The team’s next highest scorer was Lyndi Seidensticker with 9.
