Raivio Hits Key 3-pointer in Portland’s Win Over Montana

MISSOULA (AP) – Nik Raivio’s 3-pointer with five seconds remaining gave Portland a 58-57 win over Montana on Friday night.

Montana’s Jordan Hasquet had a chance to win the game but missed a short bank shot at the buzzer.

Raivio led the Pilots with 17 points, and Kramer Knutson added 10.

Portland (3-6) led by as many as 13 points in the first half, but Montana rallied and took a 47-46 lead with eight minutes remaining in the game.

Cameron Rundles made two free throws with 35 seconds left to put the Grizzlies ahead 57-55 before Raivio made his game-winning shot.

Hasquet led Montana (5-4) with 15 points and eight rebounds. Matt Martin added 11 points.
