Police Blotter: A Tasered Man and a Fight Over a Woman

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Thursday and Friday included the following:

9:01 a.m. A kid from Bigfork Middle School brought his CD player to school and someone stole it.

10:30 a.m. An accident involving a logging truck and a vehicle produced no injuries, fires, or errant logs.

10:58 a.m. Someone came onto the lot at Mark Weed Auto in Kalispell and stole one taillight.

1:32 p.m. While a Marion man was cleaning his gun in his basement he accidentally shot himself in the hand. He then drove himself to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

3:37 p.m. Someone called in because they saw an unresponsive cat in the road.

4:44 p.m. A woman who was jogging in Columbia Falls called in because a pack of five dogs ran out and acted aggressively towards her.

4:45 p.m. Five people needed to be taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after an accident involving three vehicles on U.S. Highway 2.

5:26 p.m. A man that was out walking hit his head and had a seizure.

5:33 p.m. A young boy has been habitually threatened and harassed by feral children at a bus stop.

8:07 p.m. Darby, Kory and his brother beat the daylights out of another man behind a Kalispell bar. Kory was detained but Darby ran. Deputies caught up to Darby and tasered him. He and Kory were arrested. The victim was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

11:18 p.m. Deputies spent time trying to find a vehicle that had been spotted several times running cars into the ditch, driving on the wrong side of the road and speeding at 90 miles per hour.

11:23 p.m. A panhandler at the gas station by Wal-Mart refused to leave the property and started swearing. He was gone when deputies arrived but they soon found him in the gas station casino. They told him to leave and he did.

12:08 a.m. Two extraordinarily drunken men got in a scrap over a pretty lady at a bar in Bigfork. The more aggressive of the two men claimed to be a killer. Deputies gave him a ride home and suggested the other man fill out a statement today.

4:51 a.m. A Lakeside man broke his girlfriends hand and beat up her purple PT Cruiser.

The departments responded to 151 calls for service.
