Rogers Leads Griz Over Idaho

MISSOULA (AP) – Sonya Rogers scored 16 points, including three 3-pointers, to help lead Montana to a 77-52 victory against Idaho on Saturday night.

Laura Cote and Sarah Ena each added 10 points for Montana (6-3). The Lady Griz led 29-25 at the break — shooting only 39 percent from the field. But they hit 54 percent of their shots in the second half and outscored Idaho 48-27.

Ahead 40-36, Ena scored 10 of Montana’s next 13 points to make the score 53-40 with 8:34 to play.

Yinka Olorunnife led the Vandals (0-10) with 11 points, while Sara Dennehy and Lindsey Koppen added nine points apiece. Idaho turned the ball over 25 times.
