By Beacon Staff

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday included the following:

1:21 a.m. Someone called in about a suspicious vehicle driving up and down Creston Road in Kalispell. When it parked in front of the neighbor’s house they called the Sheriff’s Department. Deputies talked to the driver who informed them they were only looking for their friend’s house and not doing anything wrong.

2:38 a.m. An intoxicated man at a local tavern pulled a knife on his fellow drunken buddy in an attempt to convince him not to drive his ATV. Deputies responded and helped the friends settle their squabble amicably. No one was stabbed.

11:12 a.m. An animal warden set up a trap to catch a dog.

11:47 a.m. A man in his 30s was found dead in a Kalispell hotel. The Sheriff’s Department is investigating his death.

1:14 p.m. Someone called the animal warden when they found a goose with a broken wing. There are a few bird ladies in Kalispell and Columbia Falls who will nurse the goose back to health.

3:06 p.m. Someone on Grand Vista Drive called in because their neighbor’s aggressive three dogs were running loose.

4:46 p.m. Larry punched his girlfriend in her face. She did not seek medical attention. He was arrested for assault and a warrant out of Columbia Falls for criminal contempt.

5:36 p.m. A man called in because his nephew took his father’s gun and pawned it.

7:15 p.m. A runaway 17-year-old girl, who was last seen at Wal-Mart, is thought to be headed to either Utah or California.

10:45 p.m. A black Rottweiler on Shady Lane in Kalispell keeps chasing people and acting terribly aggressive.

The departments responded to 107 calls for service.
