Police Blotter: Biting Woman, Slow Drive-Through

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

9:49 a.m. A young smoker at a Kalispell elementary school was caught with a stolen pack of cigarettes.

1:13 p.m. Two animal wardens were setting up devices to trap dogs on Kiwannis Lane.

4:13 p.m. A youngster stole three packs of cigarettes from a gas station in Kalispell.

5:33 p.m. A vicious woman threw her husband to the ground and bit him four times.

5:43 p.m. A young man was caught with stolen hair care products in the Kalispell ShopKo.

6:51 p.m. A woman called in because she had been stuck in the Burger King drive-through for an entire hour. She was mad that “they were out of everything.” She went into the dining room to complain three times but claimed everyone just “acted weird” and refused to help her. Deputies responded and told her if she was unhappy with Burger King service she should go to McDonald’s.

10:35 p.m. An elderly woman called in because her drunken 16-year-old granddaughter was threatening to jump out of the window. She didn’t jump.

2:39 a.m. After a night of heavy drinking a man punched his girlfriend. When deputies arrived the belligerent young man was arrested.

The departments responded to 104 calls for service.
