MISSOULA (AP) – Sonya Rogers scored 21 points, including four 3-pointers, to help Montana defeat Washington State 74-54 on Tuesday night.
Rogers was 7 of 11 from the field for the Lady Griz (7-3). Tamara Guardipee had 11 points, and Sarah Ena came off the bench to add 10 points. Britney Lohman led the team with 12 rebounds.
The Lady Griz led 36-25 at the break and kept Washington State to just 32 percent shooting from the field. The Cougars turned the ball over 14 times and committed 20 personal fouls.
Katie Calderwood came off the bench to lead Washington State (3-7) with 10 points. Alexa Price added nine bench points, while Heather Molzen grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
