Police Blotter: Destroyed Mailboxes, Med Pusher

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

10:06 a.m. Tools were stolen from an unlocked box at a construction site in Columbia Falls.

12:06 p.m. A mailbox was smashed in Kalispell.

12:37 p.m. An angry guy called in from Whitefish to complain about another guy that keeps trying to sell medication to his wife.

3:03 p.m. A woman’s soon-to-be ex-husband stopped by the house to pick up seven or eight loads of her stuff and haul it off to the dump. She wasn’t pleased.

3:38 p.m. Someone in Evergreen called in because they saw two suspicious young men walking slowly and throwing snowballs.

4:46 p.m. A 3-year-old confided in her parents that she saw someone urinate behind a bar near their home.

5:03 p.m. Thirteen mailboxes were knocked down on Juniper Bay Road.

6:12 p.m. A resident of Haywire Gulch called in because the dogs had been barking all day.

8:07 p.m. A logging truck hit a car. Two people were transported to both North Valley Hospital and Kalispell Regional Medical Hospital.

11:42 p.m. A 13-year-old boy attacked his dad with scissors after his iPod was taken away.

The departments responded to 104 calls for service.
