Kalispell Papa John’s Robbed

By Beacon Staff

KALISPELL (AP) – Police are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery early Sunday at Papa John’s pizza parlor in Kalispell.

Police say the robbers used a gun and a cattle prod, and got away with $1,300 in cash and checks.

A Papa John’s employee had locked up for the night, shortly before 2 a.m., and had gone to his vehicle in the parking lot when two young men with their faces covered approached him.

Kalispell police say one suspect used a cattle prod on the victim. The other pointed a gun at the employee, demanding the envelope containing the night’s bank deposit.

The two men escaped on foot.

The employee declined medical treatment at the scene.
