Lady Cats Falls to NDSU

FARGO, N.D. (AP) – Lisa Bue scored a career-high 29 points Sunday to lead North Dakota State to an 82-59 victory over Montana State.

Bue scored 18 of her points in the second half as the Bison (6-6) pulled away from a 34-30 halftime lead.

Montana State (5-7) trailed 46-40 after a layup by Lyndi Seidensticker with 15:17 remaining, before North Dakota State went on a 26-7 run over the next 10 minutes to take a 72-47 lead on a free throw by Jill Zaruba.

Bue had 10 points during that run and Amanda Girodat added eight of her 10.

The Bison led by as many as 26 points late in the game.

Brenda Slyt scored 15 points for the Bison, who never trailed in the game.

Rebecca Mercer led MSU with 12 points followed by Jenny Heringer with 10.
