Late Wednesday afternoon, two families opened their new homes to the crews who helped build them.
The Sweeney and Wehrman homes were dedicated Wednesday evening and both families are clearly thrilled to have spent their first Christmas at home. Their own new home. A home that they and 650 of their closest friends helped build. More than 130 local organizations and businesses helped through volunteering, funding and in-kind donations of services and materials. Materials and labor from 17 different states pitched in at one point or another on these two homes.
