Police Blotter: Obnoxious Juveniles, Dog Kills Chickens

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday included the following:

12:44 a.m. There was an assault on Browns Meadow Road.

12:53 a.m. There was another assault on Central Avenue in Whitefish.

2:34 a.m. Someone called in about obnoxious juveniles at a gas station near Columbia Falls.

2:37 a.m. Three men beat each other up on Jenson Road.

6:26 a.m. Someone was assaulted on Birch Grove two days ago.

8:19 a.m. Money was stolen out of a residence on Jellison Road.

11:10 a.m. A woman called in to say that someone had ran into her fence a couple of times with their car.

11:12 a.m. Someone trashed a hotel room in Bigfork.

3:03 p.m. Deputies checked out a suspicious male that was attempting to help an intoxicated female – whom he reportedly didn’t know – into his car. The man was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

4:19 p.m. Someone called in because some plastic was smoldering at a construction site in Whitefish.

5:19 p.m. A dog killed chickens on Third Avenue in Columbia Falls.

5:50 p.m. There was a chimney fire in Whitefish.

The departments responded to 111 calls for service.
