Police Blotter: Woman Found in Cold Rushed to the Hospital

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

7:57 a.m. When a Columbia Falls woman walked outside to take her kid to school she found a woman covered with a blanket passed out behind her car. She was taken to North Valley Hospital.

10:54 a.m. A woman called in because her sister had been using her identity.

11:12 a.m. A chimney fire was successfully put out.

11:22 a.m. An apparent gas thief returned to the station and paid.

11:50 a.m. Someone broke a window out of a vehicle.

4:53 p.m. A Kalispell man was taken to the hospital for mental evaluation after he threatened to shoot himself with a shotgun in front of a group of kids. The SWAT team was called but was not needed.

6:32 p.m. An oven fire was successfully extinguished in Columbia Falls.

12:56 a.m. A landlord called in when they saw water leaking under the sink. The leak led them to believe that the prior renters had cut the pipes. The pipes were not cut; they had froze and burst.

The departments responded to 113 calls for service.
