The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:
6:30 a.m. The animal warden picked up three black lab puppies on the side of Pleasant Valley Road and took them to the shelter.
9:07 a.m. A resident on Haywire Gulch called in to report dogs at large.
9:56 a.m. Another Haywire Gulch resident called in to complain about an unknown number of dogs running loose and barking.
11:00 a.m. Someone on Pleasant View Drive reported that a thief had stolen their ice fishing auger and pole.
11:12 a.m. Someone came into Sheriff’s Department lobby to report that they had recently purchased something on e-bay but have yet to receive it.
11:18 a.m. A black lab on Scarborough Avenue is continuously barking.
12:01 p.m. Two pairs of skis were stolen at Big Mountain.
2:26 p.m. A bull terrier on Wendt Way charged a man. The animal warden couldn’t find it.
7:49 p.m. A lady called in because her boyfriend, whom she had been arguing with, threw a lit cigarette on the bed, potentially voiding her mattress warranty. She was not pleased.
The departments responded to 155 calls for service.
