Police Blotter: Lumber Yard Lurkers, Mailbox Destruction

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday included the following:

6:25 a.m. A perturbed woman called the Sheriff’s Department because her soon to be ex-husband was annoying her and causing unnecessary problems.

9:36 a.m. Twenty-five mailboxes were knocked over by a vehicle on Mountain Meadow Road.

11:50 a.m. An Evergreen man got into a fight with his in-laws.

6:24 p.m. A burning turkey cooker was successfully extinguished on Whitefish Stage Road.

8:32 p.m. Someone called in to report that two people were lurking in the shadows around a lumber yard in Kalispell. Deputies found kids stalking and shooting each other with their air guns. They were sent home.

8:50 p.m. Two neighbors were screaming at each other in Bigfork. They were counseled by deputies.

10:10 p.m. Two intoxicated men were yelling at each another. Deputies needed to separate them.

10:53 p.m. A man kicked his own car in retaliation after his brother beat the tar out of him.

11:03 p.m. A drunken 30-year-old man’s mother called the Sheriff’s Department when she couldn’t get him to leave her house.
