Police Blotter: Garage Damage, Theft-Prone Ex-Boyfriend

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

7:28 a.m. Someone pillaged a Kalispell resident’s car. Nothing was taken.

7:34 a.m. Someone banged a 1-foot hole through a Kalispell resident’s garage door. Nothing was stolen.

11:35 a.m. A woman called in from a trailer park on Shady Lane to report that her live-in ex-boyfriend keeps stealing her stuff.

4:33 p.m. A thief unsuccessfully tried to grab a stereo out of a vehicle on Conrad Lane.

8:17 p.m. A man called 911 and said, “I don’t need help” and hung up. Deputies responded and found that an intoxicated man and his wife had been arguing. She left for the night.

11:27 p.m. The Creston Fire Department expertly put out a garage fire.

2:49 a.m. A person called in because they thought they saw a girl and a boy smoking pot in their car.

The departments responded to 154 calls for service.
