Police Blotter: Strange Visitors, Beer Thievery

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Wednesday included the following:

11:43 a.m. A man and a woman were calling each other names on Lore Lake Road.

2:45 p.m. A frightened woman on Bar H Drive called in after a suspicious man and woman knocked on her door and asked to come in.

2:54 p.m. A thief stole two cold beers and a pack of cigarettes from a Bigfork mercantile.

3:47 p.m. A local school called in when an intoxicated man showed up to pick up his daughter. It was discovered, however, that he had a sober man with him to take the pair home.

7:15 p.m. The Sheriff’s Department was called when a 15-year-old boy began throwing stuff around in a very tantrum-esque fashion.

9:55 p.m. Concerned casino employees called in after a customer errantly dropped medication bottles on the floor.

10:33 p.m. A man was pulled over and arrested for an outstanding warrant at Kiwanis Park. His dog and truck were impounded.

The departments responded to 164 calls for service
