Police Blotter: Mischievous Feline, Neighbors

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Thursday included the following:

8:03 a.m. A woman called in from Kila School after a man assaulted her. She denied medical assistance.

8:49 a.m. A Whitefish caller reported that someone was sleeping on the picnic tables in the state park. The person was done napping and had left by the time deputies arrived.

1:18 p.m. A vehicle on Middle Road ran over a dog.

2:30 p.m. A woman who got a little too rambunctious while celebrating her 21st birthday at an Evergreen bar broke a window after she was ordered to leave.

5:44 p.m. Two high-powered gunshots were heard out by Elk Park Road.

6:37 p.m. A mischievous feline who lives under a Coram resident’s garage crawled in and tore up the interior of a corvette that was parked inside. The resident wanted to know what he could do with the cat.

6:44 p.m. An intoxicated man fell off his bike in Evergreen.

6:53 p.m. A call was made about another intoxicated man stumbling on Shady Lane.

7:07 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called in because he thinks his neighbors keep turning his sensor lights off.

Departments responded to 126 calls for service.
