Police Blotter: Trashy Wallets and Flattened Tire

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

8:24 a.m. A concerned Olney resident called in to report that a driver pulled up along side a bus and started yelling.

9:54 a.m. Someone called in from Plum Creek to report that they found a suspicious arrow that had been shot into a log pile.

10:46 a.m. A Whitefish man was arrested for aggravated assault after getting in a fight with his neighbor then running him over with a tractor.

1:45 p.m. A man reported that an intoxicated man called in from an Evergreen bar and threatened him and his wife. The couple is planning to get a restraining order.

2:13 p.m. A dumpster diver called in because they found two wallets while looking for other treasures.

2:50 p.m. Someone found a dead cat.

4:39 p.m. A 16-year-old boy got into a fight with his mom, took the keys to the car and drove off. When he returned home the mother ran out and flattened one of the tires so he couldn’t leave again. Deputies stopped by to counsel them.

6:08 p.m. Someone from Yodelin Ridge Road in Kalispell called in because there was a blue go-cart tearing through the neighborhood.

12:22 a.m. A man choked his girlfriend. He was arrested for assault.

The departments responded to 148 calls for service.
