A Columbia Falls teenager who was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash a year ago has died of his injuries.
Skot Watson, 17, had been in a coma since shortly after the March 14, 2007 crash. He died Thursday at home, his family said.
Watson was a passenger in a minivan driven by a 16-year-old Kalispell girl that pulled onto U.S. 2 west of Kalispell and into the path of a sport utility vehicle. The van was broadsided and rolled onto the driver’s side. All three occupants had to be extricated from the vehicle.
Another passenger, 13-year-old Shava Harper of Kalispell, died a day after the crash.
