Police Blotter: Belated Theft Report and ‘Mutual’ Girlfriend

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Wednesday included the following:

12:24 p.m. A caller on Sunny Brook Lane in Somers reported that two obnoxious girls were throwing things at a house.

1:19 p.m. There was a dog at large on Shady Lane in Evergreen.

3:36 p.m. A woman called in to report that she had her guitar stolen at Lone Pine State Park over a year ago. She said she didn’t call sooner because it took her this long to find the paperwork.

8:48 p.m. Three juveniles were arrested after grabbing food off a grocery store shelf and eating it without paying.

12:10 a.m. Somers firefighters put out a small fire that started in Somers resident’s bathroom.

1:08 a.m. Two men got into a fight behind a grocery store in Evergreen over a “mutual” girlfriend. They both sustained minor injuries.

3:43 a.m. A call was made about a transient sitting under a street sign in Whitefish.

The departments responded to 180 calls for service.
