Former Pres. Bill Clinton to Make Three Montana Stops

By Beacon Staff

HELENA – Former President Clinton will visit Helena, Great Falls and Havre next week to campaign for his wife.

Kevin O’Brien, a spokesman for the Montana Democratic Party, says Clinton will stop at all three cities on Tuesday. He says the sites and times will be announced later.

O’Brien says the party thinks Clinton’s visit is a testament to the state playing a critical role in deciding who the nominee will be.

Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both are scheduled to campaign in Butte at an April 5 dinner held by the state Democratic Party.

Hillary Clinton is scheduled to attend a fundraiser in Missoula the following day.
