BOZEMAN – The owner and founder of the Yellowstone Club, a millionaires-only gated community south of Big Sky, says it is no longer for sale.
Tim Blixseth had been negotiating for months with Boston-based CrossHarbor Capital Partners to sell the club for a reported $455 million.
But Blixseth says the deal just didn’t come together.
The proposed sale had been in negotiations for weeks, and Blixseth said in a March 10th interview that he fully expected the deal to close by April 15.
He told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle that he’s now shifted gears to refocus on long-term management of the property.
Land in the club sells for $1 million an acre and up, for smaller parcels, and some homes are advertised for $10 million.
