The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Thursday included the following:
12:15 p.m. Two people in Columbia Falls are involved in a heated battle over custody of their dog.
12:55 p.m. A 24-ounce can of beer was stolen from an Evergreen gas station.
1:53 p.m. Three down-and-out puppies with porcupine quills stuck in their hide were found on the side of Steel Bridge Road. They were taken to the vet and then the shelter.
5:52 p.m. Someone called in because they saw a bunch of cars pull into a residence on Shady Lane and assumed it was drug related. The Drug Task Force is looking into it.
7:10 p.m. A Kalispell man broke stuff during a quarrel with his lover. The two were separated for the night.
7:36 p.m. A 30-year-old man was caught stealing baseball cards and a G.I. Joe from ShopKo.
7:38 p.m. Someone called in from River Butte Road to report a strange hobo walking around with feathers in his hair.
8:21 p.m. An Evergreen man called in because he wanted the intoxicated woman that lived with him to be removed.
9:57 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident called in about a mountain lion that was stalking their horse.
10:36 p.m. A man and a woman were both arrested for fighting each other.
The department responded to 150 calls for service.
