Police Blotter: Threatening Boss and Family Feud

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Monday included the following:

8:46 a.m. Two men beat up on another man at a Kalispell fast-food restaurant because they though he stole a backpack.

8:51 a.m. A Coram resident called in to complain about a neighbor who has been burning things all week and all throughout the night.

10:41 a.m. Someone called in from Bigfork because their former boss had threatened to squish them “like a bug.”

12:20 p.m. A Columbia Falls resident reported that six to eight dogs were constantly barking and running in and out of their yard. The dogs were gone when the animal warden arrived.

12:48 p.m. A 43-year-old woman stole $365 worth of goods from ShopKo.

3:02 p.m. Someone from Blankenship Road called in about a rabbit problem.

4:51 p.m. A kid was caught spray-painting trains at the depot in Whitefish.

4:51 p.m. A 14-year-old girl on Shady Lane in Evergreen was arrested for punching her argumentative 24-year-old brother.

8:05 p.m. A caretaker reported that a 10-year-old boy had run away. He came back two minutes after the call.

10:53 p.m. An intoxicated bar patron reported that someone at the bar was dealing heroin. The caller didn’t provide any information on the dealer and was gone when deputies responded.

The department responded to 146 calls for service.
