Police Blotter: Two Drunks at One Trailer Park

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

8:52 a.m. ShopKo wanted deputies to assist in the removal of the transients who have been camping out behind the store.

10:24 a.m. Pink paintballs were fired at the back of a storage unit on Cottonwood Drive.

1:53 p.m. A man called in to say that some tools were taken out of a trailer. He has no idea when this happened.

2:42 p.m. A Whitefish woman called in to report threats. However, she refused to give any pertinent information.

3:54 p.m. A trespassing transient’s sleeping bag and backpack were found and confiscated.

4:33 p.m. ShopKo and deputies were still trying to get the unrelenting transients to move their camp.

7:08 p.m. A 29-year-old woman was arrested for possessing of a stolen checkbook and stealing medication from Kmart.

7:38 p.m. The transients were still holed up in their camp behind ShopKo.

9:20 p.m. A drunken, stumbling man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was kicked out of a Kalispell gas station. He had fallen down in a nearby trailer park and was sprawled out in the road at the time of the call.

10:01 p.m. Another call was made about a drunken woman in the same Kalispell trailer park mentioned above, who was lying in a woman’s yard and arguing with her husband.

2:24 a.m. An intoxicated man intentionally walked out of a gas station near Columbia Falls without paying the $3.18 he owed for a sandwich and a cigar.
