MISSOULA – Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul is making a return visit to Missoula at the end of June.

Paul is scheduled to speak at the Montana Republican Party’s state convention on June 20.

Last week, Paul held a “freedom rally” at the University of Montana. The event attracted about 1,000 people.

The 72-year-old Paul finished second in the state’s Republican caucus in February. Mitt Romney won with 38 percent of the caucus vote, while Paul had 25 percent, and John McCain had 22 percent.

The Montana GOP’s state convention is scheduled for June 19-21 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Missoula.
