Busy Saturday in Columbia Falls

By Beacon Staff

It’s a busy Saturday morning in Columbia Falls.

In the Glacier Bank parking lot, the 2nd Annual Arbor Day celebration and festival is going on. Food, displays, booths, free seedlings and more are waiting for you. Stop in before mid-afternoon.

All over town (and elsewhere) folks in Columbia Falls have a busy Saturday: The tennis team is playing a match in Bigfork, the kids from CFHS who qualified for the State Band competition are in Helena and Karen Ulmer’s Columbians are in New York City at a Winton Marsalis Jazz workshop and competition.

In addition, the (young) boys of summer were on the field early this morning over by the Vets home fields and soccer games are also in progress.
