Police Blotter: Sewage Leaks on Car and Predator in Action

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Sunday included the following:

9:33 a.m. Four fence posts were stolen on Shady Lane.

10:13 a.m. Someone shot a fat turkey even though it’s illegal.

12:11 p.m. Reportedly, a motor home with a damaged sewage tank leaked wastewater on someone’s vehicle and on the highway running through Hungry Horse.

2:50 p.m. Someone may have been burning something illegally in Evergreen

3:49 p.m. There was reportedly a dead cougar floating in a river at a Whitefish park.

3:56 p.m. A Mountain Brooks Drive resident called in to say a mountain lion killed a rabbit.

6:59 p.m. During an argument with his drunken female friend, a drunken man wearing red shorts with a yellow stripe turned the power off in the woman’s home.

7:39 p.m. Someone called in to report that a drunken and stumbling female hitchhiker was picked up by someone in a green Ford Bronco.

9:26 p.m. A 57-year-old man was arrested on his fourth DUI after rolling his vehicle in Martin City.

10:01 p.m. There was a loud party and a loud race car on Zimmerman Road in Evergreen.

The departments responded to 162 calls for service
