The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Thursday included the following:
7:23 a.m. A boyfriend was arrested for hitting his girlfriend.
8:11 a.m. Another man, this one intoxicated, was arrested for beating up a woman.
8:41 a.m. An irate young man in Lakeside attempted to throw a chair through a wall.
11:24 a.m. Someone hurled a rock through a vehicle’s window in Bigfork.
12:36 p.m. Deputies arrested a abusive and disobedient 15-year-old boy.
2:25 p.m. A Kalispell woman called in to report that someone had tried to steal her trampoline, but failed. It was left straddling her fence.
8:17 p.m. An Ashley Meadows resident called in because a suspicious man was seen runniung from the train tracks toward their house. They described the man as wearing black clothing and having a tilted head. The strange man then went behind their shop. Deputies responded and spoke to the man who claimed he was just out for a walk.
3:39 a.m. Employees at a gas station off Idaho Street in Evergreen called in to report strange noises. They said they heard what sounded like someone tapping on the glass, but when they would go outside to check … no one was there.
