Police Blotter: Porta-Potty Mischief and Teddy Bear Thief

The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Tuesday included the following:

8:31 a.m. Someone littered by the catholic church in Bigfork.

9:17 a.m. A West Glacier resident reported that a suspicious woman called and tried to sell her an extended warranty on her ’56 Chevy.

2:52 p.m. Troublemakers tipped over a Porta-Potty and used silicone to seal the locks of doors shut at a construction site in Whitefish.

4:15 p.m. A Whitefish woman called in to report that she went home to find that someone had stolen one of her stuffed animals.

8:20 p.m. A man called in claiming that his wife stole his gun. After reporting the thievery he quickly hung up.

8:38 p.m. A black bear was rooting in an Amdahl Lane resident’s garage.

1:38 a.m. Neighbors were fighting on Liberty Street.

The departments responded to 168 calls for service
