The Kalispell Police and Flathead County Sheriff’s reports for Wednesday included the following:
1:28 p.m. A Somers Bay resident called in to complain of an oil slick on the lake. The slick was not oil at all, just a gathering of wood chips that had been stirred up.
2:45 p.m. A man ate a doughnut in a Kalispell grocery store and didn’t pay for it.
3:49 p.m. Someone called in because they had a sick cat with a sore on its head. They didn’t know how to take care of it. The animal warden gave them advice.
9:39 p.m. An obnoxious woman named Missy called a Columbia Fall’s resident’s home every few minutes for a half hour.
9:40 p.m. A man called in to report that his wife was being verbally abusive. They decided to sleep in separate rooms for the night.
