10:01 a.m. Deputies responded to a loud music complaint in Hungry Horse.
12:38 a.m. Thirty-seven minutes later deputies returned to Hungry Horse and asked the same party to keep it down.
3:19 a.m. In Bigfork, when a man woke up from an alcohol-induced nap he found that he was still intoxicated and only 15 feet from the bar. The bar, however, was closed. The man walked home.
3:30 a.m. A drunken man with “old damage to the dome” turned out to have a superficial knife wound.
9:14 a.m. An inspired lawn ornament was stolen from a home on Eagle Bend Drive.
9:54 a.m. A concerned citizen in downtown Lakeside reported a middle-aged woman wandering around with her luggage.
10:33 a.m. Someone driving a white truck was seen “harvesting” firewood at the Smith Game Preserve.
10:56 a.m. In Lakeside, thieves pried a lock off of a fireworks stand and stole $1,500 worth of merchandise. It was the fourth time in the last week such a crime has occurred. Over $4,000 of fireworks has been stolen.
12:03 p.m. Six people were reportedly shooting off fireworks and smoking dope at Lion Lake. Authorities investigated and found no dope.
1:49 p.m. The planks of a footbridge in Columbia Falls were reportedly on fire.
4:10 p.m. Someone called in to report some unwanted dogs.
4:10 p.m. A woman called in to report that she didn’t know what to do about an unknown person who showed up at her house and asked for money.
5:09 Someone called in to report a bunch of naked males on an island in the middle of Foys lake. When law enforcement arrived the men were only half naked.
8:23 p.m. A man, who was reportedly bleeding from the eye after a motorcycle accident, was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
8:28 p.m. An 18-year old male drove to the hospital after he shot his own hand. He thought the .45-caliber handgun was unloaded. He was wrong.
