Police Blotter: Suspicious Electrician and SWAT Team Dispatched

8:58 p.m. A man climbed a telephone pole on West Meridian. It didn’t appear as though he worked for any agency equipped to deal with electrical problems.

9:01 a.m. A homeowner near an RV park gave some troublesome tenants the boot.

9:53 a.m. Three parched boys between 10 and 12 years old reportedly asked for water from a resident on Scenic Drive.

10:04 a.m. A prisoner at the Flathead County Detention Center ratted out another inmate who had hidden a knife under a mattress.

12:50 p.m. A fast-moving fire was put out seven hours after it was first reported.

3:59 p.m. Two jet skis collided on Flathead Lake in Lakeside.

4:54 p.m. Transients have set up camp near the river behind the House of Mystery.

11:02 p.m. An aggressive dog was digging holes in Martin City.

10:20 p.m. A man got popped in the mouth at an Evergreen bar.

11:43 p.m. Four to five teens were seen running through the yard of a Harmony Road resident.

12:18 a.m. The Flathead County SWAT team was sent to Harmony Road home where, reportedly, a neighbor heard a loud gunshot. The witness also reported seeing a man grab a woman and drag her back into the house that she was trying flee. SWAT was dispatched at 12:55 p.m., when deputies were unable to get the parties to answer the door. At 2:52 a.m., the parties emerged. She was arrested on a $10,000 warrant and he had a large lump on his head. A weapon was found in the home and the man will likely face criminal charges in the coming days.

The departments responded to 174 calls for service.
